The companies Garnova and Saria Bio -Industries (SARIA) have agreed to the merger on their activities in Spain and Portugal. The transaction will be close once it has obtained the required authorization of the appropriate Authorities, which is expected to occur soon. The merged entity will have two CEOs Mrt. Valentín García and Mrt. Joan Vila, who currently occupy the same position in their companies.
Saria and Garnova are convinced that the expected synergies and efficiencies resulting from the merger and the experience of more than thirty years in the industry that both companies have, its suppliers and customers will benefit as a result of the merger or of both groups.
Garnova is owned by the private equity Aurica XXI since 2008 to implement a build-up plan for the industry threw organic and acquisition plans.
