Aurica Capital planned for the third quarter of 2015 the fundraising of a fund of € 150 million Aurica III. The vehicle will take minority but significant stakes in companies with high potential growth and strong vocation in foreign markets.
For this new fund, that will be managed by the new company Aurica Capital Desarrollo, the entity to allocate € 50 million. The remaining € 100 million will be provide by institutional investors both Spanin and international, with which the company has already initiated contacts.
Aurica Capital offer participation to pension funds, family offices, insurance companies, mutual funds, agencies and public schools etc that can be interested in investing in a project that will focus on growth capital.
Aurica is involved in the manufacturer of meshes plastic Intermas Nets, in the lighting company Luxiona, in the French cosmetics firm Uriage Laboratories and in Grupo Saria Bio Industries.
Among its divestments include the recent sale of 25% Eurofragance by € 20 million; the sale last summer of 45% of Grafos and the sale of 8.9% of García Carrión for about € 35 million. In 2013 they sold their participation in Comsa Emte.
