Group Garnova, owned by 25% by the private equity Aurica XXI SCR, has acquired 100% of Grupo GESS, a Valencian company in the same industry. With this transaction Garnova consolidates its presence in the Northeast of Spain and ensure the best service to their customers.
Aurica XXI took 25% of the company in 2008 with the aim of implementing a plan of build up threw organic growth and acquisitions.
Garnova lead an industrial group with an annual turnover of 100 million euros, of which 20 million come from the Valencian company. Grupo GESS has three production plants (two in Castellon one in Valencia) and manages the collection of meat by-products across Valencia. The company employs 110 workers.
